BENEFITS OF GREEN TEA!

Ever wondered why the Chinese are said to have one of the highest life expectancies in the world? Thousands of scientific studies confirm what the ancient Chinese knew all along through simple observation that 'green tea is perhaps the most healthful beverage human beings can consume.
There is no question about the antioxidant properties that green tea potents. Studies either strongly suggest or confirm that drinking a daily cup of green tea will l bring with it a host of cognitive health benefits. The antioxidants in green tea can reduce cholesterol, promote fat burning, reduce the risk of several forms of cancer and alleviate depression. Ancient Chinese people knew the benefits of green tea for health. Notwithstanding high rates of cigarette smoking, the tea drinking Chinese have one of the lowest lung cancer rates in the world. They have always used it for medicinal purposes. Like many other plant extracts, green tea inhibits growth of cancer cells. New research from Hong Kong found that green tea, one of the most popular drinks around the world, may benefit bone health and researchers suggest it has the potential to help prevent and treat Osteoporosis and other bone diseases suffered by millions of people worldwide. Green tea has a great importance in Chinese history. In Ancient China, green tea was used especially against the headaches and depression.  Tea was drunk to forget the ruckus of the world. These are some of the benefits of green tea which have been proven out through research:-
1. It is used to treat multiple sclerosis.
2. It is used for treatment and prevention of cancer.
3. It is used to stop Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases.
4. It is used to raise the metabolism and increase fat oxidation.
5. It reduces the risk of heart diseases and heart attacks.
6. Drinking green tea reduces the level of cholesterol in blood,
8. It is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and cardiovascular diseases
9. It is used to treat impaired immune function
"If man has no tea in him, he is incapable of understanding truth and beauty" (Japanese Proverb)
Not to be confused with the normal black tea variety commonly found in the Grocery Store next door, Green tea is processed slightly differently from traditional black tea. Green tea is processed without fermentation in order to preserve the natural nutrients that contain the health benefits. Freshly cut, young, downy leaves are steamed and then rolled and dried to make green tea. This means that it is slightly more expensive than the traditional blends available on our supermarket shelves but the high cost is well worth it. Unlike black tea, it has very little amount of caffeine which causes to insomnia, nausea and frequent urination.  So next time you feel like taking a soft drink, how about taking green tea? The aforementioned are truly wonderful benefits all contained in a simple cup of tea.

Spending Your Time or Investing Your time?!

Today, being the first week of the year 2011, I picked up a new topic. I know what you are thinking. What has Time got to do with my business or career life? Great question! My answer is everything!
Did you know that God gives each one of us, the same number of hours per day everyday?  Have you ever wondered how in the same given number of hours, some will earn a measly 100 Dollars yet others will earn one Million Dollars a month? It doesn't matter if you are self employed or if you work for an employer, bottom-line is that we all trade our time in exchange for money. For those that work for someone else, working harder, learning more skills and becoming an asset to the company often lead to promotions and a higher salary. That equates to more money for the same amount of time isn't it?  Well, the same doesn't always hold true for the self employed.  After overcoming many start-up hiccups, and the fact that many small business go under within the first 3 years you find that  for those  that are survive, hard work pays off with increased earnings and more money for time spent working. Be they big or small, many businesses means several income streams.
It isn't about how many hours per week we work; it is about
how much money we make during that time that brings all difference in our earnings across the globe. Why is this so?  Well the answer can be summarized in this phrase.  'Some people  work hard, while others not only work hard…they Work Smart' which is why when you look at the FORBES list of the richest people in the World you'll find out why that one man's bid is another man's buy!
One day I was working on a project and got stuck. I could see in my head where I wanted to be, but I could see that the current part of the project was taking rather longer then I wanted.
My choice was either keep plugging ahead or use efforts of others. And that is exactly what I did; I chose the latter!  After a couple of head longs I decided to stop working on the problem and pay some guys to fix it. If I had the time  in the world ,it would have been alright to keep going myself ,But with my limited time I figured it would be wise to pay someone to fix it while I concentrated on other core matters. It paid off dividends.  It's the amazing to see how the power of Leverage works.
Talking of "Leverage", the famous Scientist Archimedes once said, "Give me a lever long enough and a place on which to put it, and I shall move the world". The use of automation or tools to become more efficient is the best way to make a hard job easier. It will take a lot of man-hours to cut your lawn with scissors, but a lawn mower will make the work easier and produce better results.
The same holds true for making money in business.  Leverage is a general term used for any technique applied to multiply gains. You've heard of leverage Business tools in finance, In other words, doing things that can be re-used to produce income in multiple niches.   The concept of leverage applies also in Network Marketing.  It's a scenario whereby one uses a few resources to achieve great output results. For instance mobilizing people who have what you don't have e.g. Time, Skills, Talents, money etc works like magic. In Network Marketing ,by employing the efforts of your down lines (Your human assets) in your Networks means that a small change in revenue generated by each individual worker will result in a larger change in operating income.
When you have to do it all by yourself, you are spending Time, but when you Recruit others and teach them to do what you do to work under you, you are Investing Your Time. This is in other words to say that you are duplicating yourself through others. This is exactly what network Marketing is all about…  Yes! Duplicating yourself through others.  Research has found out that:-
"Wealth is hidden to those who have to do it all by themselves".
"Wealth exposes itself to those you are keen enough to teach others"
Obviously, you got to keep working or the Bills won't get paid. Whether you Work hard or you Work Smart, is a matter of Choice!

HAPPINESS AND SUCCESS IN LIFE!

What is happiness? Can money and material wealth bring more happiness in our lives? Is there a formula or some mix of love, wealth, work, relationship and psychological adoption for a happy life? These are some of the questions peolple have been asking themselves in trying to answer that age old question; what is happiness? The purpose of life and the motion of life is always moving towards happiness. In every sphere of our life, everything we do be it work, Business, family, relationships, religion (all the promises of afterlife).etc, revolve around man’s insatiable and unquenchable desire to be bring happiness and to lead a happy life, What makes us happy, the pursuit of happiness, and how we can lead more fulfilling, satisfying lives. As evidence has shown, happy person is not one in a certain set of circumstances but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes.

Have a positive attitude
One of the best acknowledged attributes to happiness is a positive attitude. Evidently, if you have a positive attitude, you'll find life easier than if you were miserable. Positive thinking improves the immune system and may even lead to longer life! This sounds great in theory, but the difficult part is how to put that into practice. In our world today which has become largely full of hustles and bustles of life, there’s clearly a need to start looking at our happiness and positive thinking in a different way. Though we will more often come across mountains of challenges in our day to day life, having a positive attitude will not necessarily make the mountain lower, but certainly makes the climbing easier. By developing a positive attitude, we are taking charge of your own ability to be happy by so doing; we will generally have a much healthier state of mind. How we react to issues is purely a question of attitude. I once listened to one time Vice chancellor of Nairobi University, Prof. Phillip Mbithi say that “The success of any institution is not in its lack of problems bur rather how best you handle those problems”

Surround your self with positive thinking people in your life and you’ll be happy. Having that ‘me time’ once in a while is good but studies show that happier people surround themselves with not only friends and family but also supportive relationships as well. When you surround yourself with inspired people, you become much like them. In his book entitled “Be inspired before you expire,” (Pepe Minambo) - motivational Speaker and Author, says that positive minded people are essentially inspired people. You be must be inspired to inspire others because no one can give what he does not have. If you’re not inspired, you are expired. “There’s nobody as dangerous as an expired person. Just like an expired drug in a drug store, so is an expired person. Keep off expired minds” (Pepe Minambo). Positive minded people are more inspired and by linking ourselves with inspired people, we are in essence tapping on their inspired way of thinking and doing things which lead to ourselves being inspired as well. According to the words of Henry Ford, “My best friend is the one who brings out the best out of me”. Surround yourself with inspired people and you are likely to be happier than ever before.

Positive attitude helps us to cope more easily with the daily hustles of life. It brings optimism into your life, and makes it easier to avoid worry and negative thinking. If you adopt it as a way of life, it will bring constructive changes into your life, and makes them happier, brighter and more successful. With a positive attitude you see the bright side of life be it family, social or carrier or business. Some of the benefits of a positive attitude include helping one in achieving goals and attaining success. Success is achieved faster and easier in an optimistic situation. Happiness generates a general wellbeing and invigorates both the body and the mind.
Others include greater inner power and strength. The ability to inspire and motivate yourself as well as others means fewer difficulties encountered along the way and the ability to surmount any difficulty. Positive attitude also diffuses stressful situations, and when the brain relaxes it is more creative and better at problem solving. When you smile at life, Life smiles back at you. Negative attitude says: you cannot achieve success. Positive attitude says: You can achieve success… (Remember President Obama’s campaign slogan Yes We Can!”)
If you have been exhibiting a negative attitude and expecting failure, difficulties, and general lack of happiness, it is now the time to change the way you think. It is time to get rid of those negative thoughts. There’s a common saying that says that “a pessimist sees danger in every opportunity but an optimist sees opportunity in every danger”. Become optimistic and expect the best to happen, you’ll be a happier lot!

Network Marketing and the wellness industry

Network Marketing also known as Multi-Level-Marketing (MLM) or Referral Marketing has been around since the early part of the last century, but for many people, it is still unfamiliar territory. It is a very good way of starting a profitable, part time or full-time business with little investment. It is also a good method of starting a second or part-time business to run alongside your existing business, career or lifestyle. In most cases it involves products or services produced and supplied by a 'mother' company being passed on to the final consumer directly without going through the traditional intermediaries’ (Agents, distributors, wholesalers, retailers etc) thereby occasioning the company substantial revenue savings sometimes amounting up to 60-70%. These savings are now passed to independent distributors and their down lines as bonuses.
The independent distributor takes on the responsibilities of buying products either for sell or for personal use and introducing other people to the company to do the same. One gets paid commission or bonuses based on your personal business volume of products / services generated by yourself and a smaller commission on the products / services by the people you have introduced to the company. In addition to this, you often get a percentage commission based on the sales volume of the people who- 'the people you introduced'- introduced... and so on...and so on…..
Amway, an America company is believed to be the first company to adopt Network marketing to market its nutritional products way back in 1945. Today many more have come in lately. Companies like Microsoft, Gillette, Colgate-Palmolive, Rexall, Goodyear, IBM, and Firestone. Others include G.M, Avon, Herbalife, Watkins Products, GNLD, SwissGarde,
Tiens (Pronounced Tianshi) Tiens, a multinational company, began in 1995 in Beijing China. It utilizes Network marketing system to market its wide variety of products ranging from multi vitamin and mineral supplements, beauty products as well as fitness machines such as the blood circulatory massager. The list of companies keep on growing daily as more companies keep on joining in this revolutionary business concept . One may ask why so many companies utilizing network marketing as their chosen method of marketing? Simply put, Network marketing is more efficient and the fastest way to reach the end user!
You and your health!

The World health organization estimates that about 70% of the world population is un-healthy.The current emphasis is strongly on healthy habit and on the need to develop a healthy lifestyle - and rightly so. According to the W.H.O definition, optimum health covers beyond just the mere absence of sickness and pain in the body. Health is defined by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as being:"a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity" (WHO, 1948)
The concept behind supplementing the diet in seemingly healthy population is that, low levels of vitamins and vital minerals coupled with high levels of toxicity the environment are in themselves a hindrance to achieving optimum health। Some of the seemingly healthy people today could be potential visitors to the Doctor tomorrow. A high potency vitamin and mineral supplement is therefore strongly recommended if one is to stay in this optimum health situation. Many food and (Vitamin and mineral) supplements provide valuable nutrition which may be lacking in our diet today. Also available from the wellness industry today is a wide range of cleansers or detoxifiers that clear our bodies of toxic wastes from the today’s’ highly polluted environment. Herbal tonics have the ability of toning up the body or specific organs structures. Our bodies also require regular excises. Here, exercise machines as well as the blood circulatory massager comes in handy especially for those busy executives who have little or no time at all for the gym.

MLM companies that specialize in the wellness products in essence do provide you with two vital keys in life; health and wealth! They provide a business development opportunity for individuals to create a business of their own with minimal capital outlay, a perfect business that will provide you with financial security and freedom that you need. MLM BUSINESS in essence offers everyone, the chance to become a user and sponsor as well as a distributor, an
excellent opportunity and a sure way to health and honest wealth. Many of these products are recipients of a host of international awards, and members are more than adequately rewarded with sound health and exponential residual income.

Sayings of the wise!

Beware of Pyramid schemes!

You may have heard of them and if not you might sooner or later receive a message offering you a business opportunity which is a Pyramid Scheme. You will be offered the chance of making a huge amount of money, and the method is detailed in an explanation. From a casual look, it may seem plausible and quite a brilliant idea. Well, there are many ways of making a fortune, but there is a problem with pyramid schemes and I will explain why, after I've explained what a pyramid scheme is.
WHAT IS A PYRAMID SCHEME?
An illegal business that involves the exchange of money primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, usually without any product or service being delivered. You have to pay a small sum to someone first. This is sometimes connected with a deal involving signing up with some kind of money mailing company or sometimes it's a matter of sending cash. You pay the money to Person1 on the list. The list has three (or more) people on it, and then you move everyone along the list up by one step, put your own name on the list, and wait for the money to come rolling in. The letter will tell you that this is a sure way for everyone to make a fortune, and the explanation seems convincing. After all, if you have been convinced by it and sent the money, others will, so sooner or later an increasingly large number of people will be paying YOU money. Sounds so brilliant idea, eh? Then comes the questions..then
WHAT'S WRONG WITH PYRAMID SCHEMES?
Well, let's not knock off an idea just because it promises to make a fortune. That would be ignorant, as there ARE many ways to make a fortune, some of which have not been discovered bu then It pays to not be too skeptical also. With pyramid schemes, SOME people WILL make a fortune..majority wont, so, what's wrong with these schemes and why should you avoid them? The problem is the mathematics, which can be explained logically and the problem exposed. You don't need Advanced Level Exam mathematics to see this, but O-level helps. Part of the trouble is that the proponents of pyramid schemes will try to distract you from the mathematical fault. Here, as clearly as can be explained, is the fault: For every person in the scheme who makes money, a preset number (n) will have to pay out money. For any level of the scheme, an ever-increasing next-level will be required. So, even though YOU might make money, sooner or later a lot of people will be sold a deal which will LOSE MONEY. So, some will make money, but others will lose....majority of them.
If this sounds too complex to understand, a simpler explanation will do:
As no money is being actually generated and it's just being moved about, there is no real wealth to be made, at least not in the long term, by everyone. So, to sum it up, although a few people may get rich, the chances are it won't be you. Furthermore, whether you make money or not, a very large number of other people will lose money. It's a mathematical fact about the system.
The reason why pyramid schemes fool a lot of people into paying money into them is because, like the Impossible Triangle, it looks convincing from any angle. Most people aren't clever enough to figure out the whole picture and see the fundamental fault in it.
Pyramids schemes are illegal in some countries and not in some other countries, but this is largely irrelevant. People need to be wary of the hazards and should not jus sit back and wait to be protected by law against folly.
Pyramid schemes are sometimes disguised as MLM / Multi-Level Marketing, but the question one should ask him/herself is whether there’s a real product being sold and if not, then this is obviously a pyramid scheme.
Pyramid schemes now come in so many forms that they may be difficult to recognize immediately. However, they all share one overriding characteristic. They promise consumers or investors large profits based primarily on recruiting others to join their program, not based on profits from any real investment or real sale of goods and services to the public.
A Ponzi scheme is closely related to a pyramid because it revolves around continuous recruiting, but in a Ponzi scheme the promoter generally has no product to sell and pays no commission to investors who recruit new "members." Instead, the promoter collects payments from a stream of people, promising them all the same high rate of return on a short-term investment. In the typical Ponzi scheme, there is no real investment opportunity, and the promoter just uses the money from new recruits to pay obligations owed to longer-standing members of the program. In English, there is an expression that nicely summarizes this scheme: It's called "Robbing Peter to pay Paul."
Many of you may be familiar with Ponzi and Pyramid schemes reported in the local and international financial news. Both Ponzi schemes and pyramids are quite seductive because they may be able to deliver a high rate of return to a few early investors for a short period of time. Yet, both pyramid and Ponzi schemes are illegal because they inevitably must collapse. No program can recruit new members forever. Every pyramid or Ponzi scheme collapses because it cannot expand beyond the saturation point of the population. When the scheme collapses, most investors find themselves at the bottom, unable to recoup their losses.
Some people confuse pyramid and Ponzi schemes with legitimate multilevel marketing Businesses. Multilevel marketing programs also known as MLM's, unlike pyramid or Ponzi schemes, MLM's have real products to sell. More importantly, MLM's actually sell their product to members of the general public, without requiring these consumers to pay anything extra or to join the MLM system.
MLM's may pay commissions to a long string of distributors, but these commission are paid for real retail sales, not for new recruits.
This is actually the most fundamental difference between a
legitimate MLM and an illegal Pyramid scheme and when you know this, you will be able to differentiate the wheat from the chaff because when the deal seems so good...there's a catch somewhere.

Network marketing-todays Company wins too!

One may ask,why are so many companies utilizing network marketing as their chosen method of marketing? Simply put, network marketing is more efficient and the fastest way to reach the end user! The company does not pay for marketing, distribution or sales until after the sale is made and the product is delivered. Compare that to traditional marketing where a company can spend millions of Shillings on distribution well as all costs associated with an employee based sales force, such as benefits, support staff, communication, travel and office, before any product is sold. Research points out that well over 70 percent of the cost of getting a product to end user today is the result of marketing and distribution. Companies are looking to move their cost as close to the point of sale as possible. Network marketing companies replace traditional marketing costs with sales commissions to the independent representatives, paid after the product is sold.
"If you can’t beat them, join them”
Companies like Microsoft, Gillette, Colgate-Palmolive, Rexall, Goodyear, IBM, and Firestone. Others include General Motors, Avon, Watkins Products, GNLD, SwissGarde Tiens etc, are all in Net work marketing today. Why are so many companies utilizing network marketing as their chosen method of marketing? Simply put, it's more efficient and the fastest way to reach the end user! It is interesting to note that many of the major network marketing companies started only as direct-selling companies. After discovering the awesome power of network marketing through the success of Amway and others, these direct-selling companies are somewhat 'forced' to adopt the network marketing plan. This perhaps explains why MLM plans are now being used by more than 70 percent of the DSA's member companies." They have finally decided,"If you can't beat 'em, join 'em."

Network marketing-evolution of free enterprise

Like all-powerful concepts, Network Marketing has also met resistance due to a lack of understanding. People have always been afraid and even ignorant about ideas and methods that may result in change. Humans being are prone to fear especially fear of the unknown. In almost every field of endeavour, be it arts, sciences, medicine, and business etc, most new ideas have always met with resistance and rejection at first. The more unique and revolutionary the idea is, the louder and stronger the opposition to it. Renowned discoverers like Albert Einstein, Christopher Columbus, Louis Pasteur, Thomas Edison etc were victims of ridicule because of peoples’ fear of change. The most fundamental fact of life in our world today is change. As a rule, people are reluctant to change. We resist it, we like the status quo, staying within our comfort zones. Whilst its HUMAN NATURE to stay within what is known and accepted by many, what if you come to realize that what you resist will persist, especially if you have been resisting a better method whose time has come?Fear of change has had its toll on progress. In the early 1960's in the U.S for instance, franchising became a revolutionary new technology in business, and it was also met stiff resistance. Newspapers and magazines wrote what a scam and rip-off franchising was. Stories of people who lost their life savings to some franchise were everywhere. There was a strong move to have franchising outlawed. In fact, franchising actually came within 11 votes of being outlawed by the U.S Congress. Today this once so-called scam is responsible for over 34 percent of all retail sales in North America. Franchise in the U.S is a nearly 800 billion dollar business today.Stock market was once considered shady and a form of gambling. Now, we almost can't do without these industries. Every industry goes through an evolutionary phase similar to this and Network Marketing is no exception.Phases of Network MarketingOver the following years, network marketing has evolved and diversified into a wide range of products and services as more companies adopted this marketing method. Richard Poe in his book, Wave4 (NetworkMarketing in the 21st Century) summarizes network marketing into the following phases:
1945 - 1979 --- The Underground Phase
1979 - 1989 --- The Proliferation Phase
1990 - 1999 --- The Mass Market Phase
2000 and beyond ---The Universal Phase

How Does It Works?
In Network Marketing, you share information and develop personal and professional contacts. You are rewarded for sharing information that results in product sales. Network Marketing empowers you to build your own networking sales organization from your personal and professional contacts, which also empowers everyone to do the same, thereby creating exponential growth of your network. You can earn income from the successful efforts of your network of business associates. Unlike conventional Corporations with one chief executive at the top, in Network Marketing everyone is the CEO of his or her own independent organization.A network marketing company supplies the product. Then they join in partnership with a network of independent representatives, each one in business for themselves while the company takes care of the research and development, finances, management, public relations, production, warehousing, packaging, quality control, administration, shipping, data processing, the accounting and payment of representative sales commissions. Network Marketing is fastest method to reach the end user encourages team building and sharing, and has the advantage that it’s open to all irrespective of background and allows people to earn sales commission. Simpy put, the business model is a proven success.

Pros:

  • Little start up costs (Some Companies like Tiens as little as $20 for registration and starter kit) with the potential to build a substantial business.
  • Some companies require as little as $100 purchase to start earning commissions.
  • Uses a proven business formula for guaranteed success.
  • It is a very Low risk business.
  • A great deal of support and advice often given from the parent company.
  • Flexible -can be run on a full-time or part-time basis.
  • Highly expandable - no restrictions on territory. The parent company can supply to many countries.
  • Business can be run from your own home. (Great with the Internet).
  • Builds your confidence and increases your communication skills.
  • You work for the hours you want.
  • You are your own boss. With Tianshi fo instance the points you are attain are cumulative till you reach minimum level for commission.
  • Cons:
  • There may be restrictions on your business practices e.g.. Recruitment, advertising etc.
  • Your business heavily relies on the success of one 'mother' company and its ability to deliver its products / services on time.
  • You may not feel comfortable selling to your peers.

Whatever the advantages or disadvantages, network marketing is here to stay and network marketing works as you can find out by clicking this link. Today it is a multi-billion dollar business and it's now a major method of doing business with more and more companies adopting this business model, with more and more independent distributors joining every year. Today, it has grown into one of the driving forces of the21st century economy. Network marketing is now regarded by many business leaders as the business of the future.

Network Marketing as an Entrepreneurial Opportunity

Traditional marketing involves moving a product through a hierarchy of middlemen from the manufacturer through a chain of jobbers, Distributors, wholesalers, retailers; etc .each of these middlemen earns a profit for handling the product and this ultimately pushes the product prices high, sometimes to astronomical levels.

In Network Marketing, also popularly known as MLM these middlemen are reduced. The functions are simplified. The product moves through a network of distributors directly to the end user the end result, great cost savings are realised by the parent company . The profits that normally go to the middlemen now available to the company are thereby shared instead by the distributors in the network – and these distributors are simply you and your Associates or your down liners!

In today’s world the challenging work place has demonstrated that there is no security in the traditional corporate structure and career path. Home based businesses provide a safe avenue for self employment. In the United States over 3,000 jobs are lost each day due to downsizing, automation and technological advancements mergers and takeovers etc. Millions of people will be out of work searching for the same kinds of jobs their former employers just eliminated, in another company that just hasn't yet streamlined. This is postponing the inevitable; In fact, 47 percent of the companies that made up the Fortune 500 in 1980 are no longer in operation today, which represents a net loss of more than five million jobs!

Technological advancements affect the work forces of entire industries. One example is the gramophone record business. In the 70’s and before1985, vinyl records supported a $24 billion a year industry. Today it is all but extinct, having been replaced by producers of audio cassettes which are rapidly being replaced by Compact Discs or CD’s,VCD, DVD etc’ .

The functions computers are capable to execute have caused substantive workforce to be declared redundant. Similarly, robots have taken over many jobs in the workplace in many assembly plants in Japan, China and many other areas. One robot can replace twenty human workers and extinguishes the need for companies to pay exorbitant amounts in employee benefits, traveling allowances, medical expenses and the like. Why? It’s commonly referred to as cost cutting.

Network Marketing as an home based business can provide a financial cushion of residual income to protect oneself from such events. A recent Wall Street Journal survey in the U.S found that 80 percent of the work force wants to own their own business and 40 percent surveyed would like to work at home. This is exactly what network marketing provides. People are searching for ways to build a future that develops leadership and provides a balance in their lives for their families and each other. In today’s Economic environment traumatised by corporate downsizing, lay offs, slow growth and business uncertainty; Home based business and in particular Network Marketing can offer supplemental income or a new, non traditional career path.

One world acclaimed investor, Businessman, self help author and motivational speaker of this century once said "If i had to do it all over again, rather than build an old style type of business, I would have started building net work marketing business" quote by Robert T.Kiyosaki, Author of the classic Business School, Rich Dad, Poor Dad"

Network Marketing as a channel of distribution, allows individuals to create a retail business of their own. The individuals can also build a network of distributors through recruiting or sponsoring, training and managing other representatives. (It is for these services that you are paid) These new distributors are then eligible to develop their own sales group. The sponsoring organisers are then paid commissions on the sales of those people they recruited or sponsored into their sales team. Network Marketing is the new way to financial freedom. You'll never create residual income and freedom from the traditional job. Even professionals are trading their time for money; if they are not seeing clients or patients, they are not getting paid. Most income is temporary and it is easy to determine if your income is temporary - just stop working for 90 days. If your income stops or slows down, then you know you have temporary income.
In Network Marketing, once you develop a solid network of sales representatives, each of them working individually and as a wholesome group you will create ongoing residual income,. This is like duplicating yourself through others. This can give you the freedom to do what you want whenever you want to do it.

Unlike in traditional business, career advancement in Network Marketing comes directly from helping to create success with those that you introduce to the company. Network Marketing is sharing information that results in product sales. People involve themselves because they want to finally be compensated for what their efforts are really worth. They're involved because somebody thought and cared enough about them to show them the awesome opportunity of network marketing. They get involved because they were ready to make a change. The main reason for the success of Network Marketing is that it is based on cooperation, not competition. Network Marketing is about empowerment of the individual as well as the entire team. Team stands for Together Everyone Achieves More.

Conclusively, the 'Referral Marketing' industry is growing at a rapid rate. More and more companies are looking at it as a viable method of cutting costs. It has enabled a huge number of people to start earning substantial incomes with low financial investment and, therefore, low risk. However, it is not a 'lazy man's' way of making money. In order to build a successful business, like any business, one must invest a great deal of time and effort into it. Many people have 'fallen by the way side' because they have been misinformed (by over enthusiastic recruitment tactics) about the level of work that is required to generate a decent income.
As you enter into the Network Marketing business however, you will be amazed by the amount of support given to you by the parent company and the training systems available through telephone, internet, satellite, and live training workshops. It’s interesting how resistant we are to change. We want to stay in our comfort zones even when we're miserable. Whilst it’s been said that network marketing is the next step in the evolution of free enterprise, one thing we can always be assured of is, the most fundamental fact of life in our world today is that change is inevitable.

Network marketing, as Home Based Business.

Important facts you should know!

Like many truly innovative breakthroughs, the development of true Network Marketing was an accident. Network Marketing is around 60 years old. Carl Rehnborg was known to be the first person to introduce a compensation plan to market his nutritional products way back in 1945, after realizing that, all their new sales representatives coming aboard were friends and family members of their existing sales force and primarily because they wanted the product at wholesale prices. His company was originally called the California Vitamin Company but later renamed as Nutrilite Products Inc. By using a multi-tired plan, it allowed any Nutrilite distributor to get a 3 percent commission from a downline on top of the regular commissions from their own Sales. With this system, Nutrilite achieved stunning success compared to the old "direct-selling" method. They also discovered that it was easier to create a sales force of a lot of people who each sold a small amount of product than it was to find a few superstars selling a huge volume of products. So they designed a sales compensation structure that encouraged their salespeople to invite new representatives from satisfied customers, most of whom were family and friends, who each had the same right to offer the product and representative status to others. This allowed the sales force to grow exponentially and in return, the company rewarded them for the sales volume produced by their entire group or network of sales representatives and thus Network Marketing was born!

In 1956, Nutrilite was joined in Network Marketing by Dr. Forrest Shaklee to gain a broader distribution of the food supplements he helped develop. In 1959, two good friends - Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel - started a new company called Amway Corporation selling biodegradable all-purpose cleaners and vitamin supplements. Using an improved compensation plan, the tiny enterprise achieved remarkable success with a sales force of independent distributors from all over the United States. DeVos and Van Andel had earlier made a fortune from working as distributors, withNutrilite. After breaking away from Nutrilite they were convinced they could do better on their own marketing their own products. Today, Amway is one of the leading network marketing companies in the world. Others have come into paly lately incude the Chinese food supplements and beauty products giant Tiens (pronounced Tianshi)
During the early 80's they (Tiens) fully embraced Network Marketing is also known as Multi-Level-Marketing (MLM) or Referral Marketing as their business model and as a result, witnessed the fastest growth ever experienced in history, with millions of distributors joining hands with it world over . Although the business concept has been around since the early part of the last century, for many people, it is still unfamiliar territory. It is a good way of starting a profitable, full-time business with little investment capital. It is also a good method of starting a second or part-time business to run alongside your existing business, career or lifestyle.
In most cases it involves selling a product or service which is produced and supplied by a 'mother' company. You take on the responsibilities of selling the products and introducing other people to the company. You get paid commission on the products / services sold by yourself and a smaller commission on the products / services sold by the people you have introduced to the company. In addition to this, you often get a percentage commission based on the sales of the people who- 'the people you introduced'- introduced... and so on…..and so
